ENCODING YOUR SEED PHRASE

1. Prepare: Gather your seed phrase and iHODL Seed Phrase Card
2. Launch & Select: Open the app and choose one of four patterns (□ ▲ ✕ ○)
3. Enter Words: Type each seed phrase word in the text field
4. Punch Card: Follow the displayed binary pattern to punch holes in your iHODL Seed Phrase Card
5. Continue: Press reset and repeat for each word in your seed phrase

IMPORTANT TIP: We suggest that you use a marker to clearly mark the hole pattern for your iHODL seed phrase card before punching. Always double-check that your marked pattern correctly corresponds to your intended seed phrase layout - verify the grid alignment, word positions, and sequence accuracy. This verification step is crucial since any error in the punched pattern could compromise your ability to recover your wallet. Take the extra moment to confirm your pattern matches your seed phrase exactly before making permanent holes.

DECODING YOUR SEED PHRASE

1. Launch & Select: Open the app and choose the SAME pattern (□ ▲ ✕ ○) used for decoding
2. Switch Mode: Toggle from Text Mode to Binary Mode
3. Input Pattern: Click the bubbles to match the punched holes on your iHODL Seed Phrase Card
4. View Word: The corresponding seed phrase word will display
5. Continue: Press reset and repeat for each word

IMPORTANT: Always remember which pattern (□ ▲ ✕ ○) you used for each Seed Card!
